National Gas CEO addresses the 24th World LP Gas Conference in Doha
National Gas Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Goutam Sen, addressed the 24th World LP Gas Forum recently in Doha, Qatar which was attended by over 700 delegates representing LP Gas companies from 50 countries. Goutam Sen outlined strategies that LP Gas companies could follow to leverage their expertise in the field to offer value added services and products to their markets in order to develop sustainable business models. National Gas’s initiatives such as the unique Cutting Gas for metal industry, NC+ and Synthetic Natural Gas solutions for energy starved industries generated a lot of interest from peers in the LP Gas industry.
The World LP Gas Forum is the premium annual global event for the LP Gas industry. This event is held all around the globe annually attracting key international agencies, policy makers, media and the highest level of industry leaders to explore the LP Gas business, discuss its growth potential and to forge new business relationships.
LP Gas which is derived from Natural Gas found when oil is drilled; Industry experts are predicting that the worldwide demand will double in the next 15 years. The question asked was whether the supply can be expanded fast enough to meet the growing demands. The Middle East is expected to overtake North America as the largest LPG producing region while Asia will continue to be the fastest growing consumer base.
