National Gas launches ‘ONE MISSION - ONE FAMILY’ initiative

 

National Gas Company SAOG launched its ‘One Mission – One Family’ initiative during its Annual Day get-together held at Mumtaz Mahal Lawns on Friday, January 22, 2010.

 

The Team members were encouraged to write their personal mission statements for the Company. This was to encourage employee participation and taking ownership of the way forward for the Company. This initiative also helped to make a consensus so that all the members of the team would work as a team in one direction to achieve the goals of the company. The Mission statements of the members in English as well as Arabic shall be collated to reflect the overall thought that will develop into National Gas’ Mission Statement.

 

Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Goutam Sen said that, “Each member of the National Gas family is empowered to determine the course of the company. The management shall endeavor to consider all points of view while determining National Gas’s future forward.”

 

The Chairman, Sheikh Khalid Alhosni stated that “We are proud of the progress we have made as a result of the combined efforts of all team members; and as we forge ahead with our plans, we recognize the contribution of our most valuable asset ‘Our Employees’ in not only ensuring that their daily duties are done to the best of their abilities, but also in contributing to the shape and direction this company will take in moving forward.”

 

This social event also helped to regroup and look towards the newer challenges of the forthcoming year as a family and also re-energize the team post their participation in activities which won them interesting prizes to boost their morale and team working abilities.
